Babies are typically retroactively covered for the first 30 days by their insurance company. Use the insurance information of the adult's plan that the baby will be added to. Both mom and baby are billed for lactation services.

Once submitted, Heather will reach out by email or text to review insurance coverage and help guide next steps. You’ll also receive a consent form and a health and feeding history form to complete before your appointment, so we can use our time together as effectively as possible.

At this time, Medicaid and Fidelis are not accepted/reimbursed for visits at Finger Lakes Lactation.

If you are actively on WIC, a 40% discount will be applied to each office and virtual visit

What happens if I am not covered?

If your insurance is not covered, please do not let that stop you from getting the help that you need! I will provide you with a receipt/Superbill with instructions to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
